Size Up & File Down
Choose the next size larger and gently file the sidewalls until it matches your natural nail shape. A slightly larger nail can often sit flatter and more comfortably on flatter nail beds.
Warm & Reshape Your Press-Ons
Warm your press-ons with hot water or a hair dryer before application. While still warm, apply and hold firmly to help them mould to your natural nail shape for a more seamless fit.
Use a Smaller Sticky Tab + Glue
Use a sticky tab slightly smaller than your natural nail and apply glue along the sidewalls. This helps create a more seamless fit on flatter nail beds.
The Double Adhesive Tab Hack
If you're using adhesive tabs only, try stacking two tabs by placing a slightly smaller tab directly on top of the first. This creates a subtle raised centre, helping the press-on sit more naturally on flatter nail beds.
