How To Measure Your Nails

Method 1: Measuring Tape (Recommended)

This is the most direct method if you happen to have a tailor's or soft measuring tape handy.

Method 2: Tape Method

If you do not have a soft measuring tape, you can easily use household tape, a pen, and a straight ruler.

Apply tape

Place a piece of clear or paper tape flat across the widest part of your nail bed.

Mark the edges

Mark the edges

Use a pen to draw a line on both sides of your nail where it naturally creases against your skin.

Carefully peel the tape off and stick it flat onto a piece of paper. Use a ruler to measure the exact distance between the two pen marks in millimeters.

Measuring Tips

  • Select the size that fits most of your fingers. We recommend measuring all 10 nails, as sizing may vary between both hands.
  • Consider sizing up if you are between two sizes or have flatter nail beds.
  • Avoid measuring over acrylic, gel, or existing press-on nails, as this may affect accuracy.
